Live Activities
When you start a timer, Streaks shows its progress in a Live Activity on the Lock Screen and, on iPhones that have it, in the Dynamic Island. You can pause the timer from there without opening the app.
Live Activities from your iPhone also appear in the Smart Stack on a paired Apple Watch.
To turn this off for a task, open the task’s Notifications screen and turn off Live Activity / Dynamic Island.
If Live Activities don’t appear at all, check that they’re allowed for Streaks in the Settings app.
