Privacy Policy

No accounts, no ads, no tracking.

Streaks is a habit-forming to-do list made by Crunchy Bagel Pty Ltd. There are no accounts and no ads. Your tasks stay on your devices and in your own iCloud, your Health data is never sent to us, and we never sell your data.

Last updated 15 October 2026.

Your tasks

Your tasks, their history, notes and settings are stored on your device.

If iCloud sync is on, they're synced between your devices using your private iCloud database. That data is stored by Apple in your iCloud account, is only accessible from within Streaks, and we can't see it. You can turn sync off in the Streaks settings, or turn off iCloud for Streaks in your device's Settings.

Streaks also makes backups of your tasks, which are kept on your device and, if you use iCloud Drive, in the Streaks folder of your iCloud Drive.

Apple Health

With your permission, Streaks reads data from the Health app to check whether your tasks are complete, and can save data to it for some tasks. It only asks for the types of data your tasks need. Depending on the tasks you create, these can include:

  • Activity and workouts
  • Mindfulness and State of Mind
  • Nutrition, such as water and caffeine
  • Sleep
  • Body measurements
  • Vitals and heart
  • Medications
  • Hygiene, such as toothbrushing and handwashing

Streaks does not send your Health data to any server, including ours. It is not used for advertising or marketing, and it is never sold or shared with third parties. You choose what to allow, and can change it at any time in the Health app or in Settings.

Screen Time

If you create a task linked to Screen Time, you choose the apps or categories to include with Apple's Screen Time picker, and Screen Time tells Streaks when your use of them reaches the time you set. Apple doesn't give Streaks the names of the apps you choose or how you use them, and nothing about your Screen Time is sent to us.

Apple Intelligence

On devices that support Apple Intelligence, some features, such as suggesting details for a new task and breaking a task down into smaller steps, use Apple's on-device language model. This runs entirely on your device. The text you enter isn't sent to us.

Task sharing

You can share a task with other Streaks users so they can see its progress. Shared tasks are stored only on your devices and in private and shared iCloud storage. The task's owner decides who has access, and can stop sharing at any time. No shared task data is stored on our servers or any other third-party server.

When you follow a shared task, you can link its owner to a contact, for example to send them a message. Streaks only receives the one email address or phone number you pick, and it stays on your device.

Siri, Shortcuts, widgets and notifications

If you use Siri or Shortcuts, the names of your tasks are made available to Siri so you can complete them by voice. This is handled by Apple.

Reminders, alarms and timers are scheduled on your device. We don't send you marketing notifications.

If you save a sharing image to Photos, Streaks only asks to add that image to your library. It can't see your photos.

Crash and diagnostic reports

To find and fix bugs, Streaks sends crash and diagnostic reports to Sentry, a crash reporting service. A report contains technical details: what went wrong, your device model, operating system and app version, a record of recent app activity leading up to the problem (such as which screens were open), and a random identifier that isn't linked to you.

Some diagnostic reports, which help us track down specific problems, also include technical details about one of your tasks, such as its type, how often it repeats, the dates involved, your time zone and a random identifier for the task. A few include a broad range, such as whether a Health task was close to its goal, but never the Health values themselves. Reports don't include your name, your contact details, or the names or notes of your tasks.

We use these reports only to fix problems in the app. There's no setting to turn them off; deleting the app stops them.

Help and suggestions

The Help screen and the task suggestions in the app are downloaded from our server. The request includes the app version, the type of device and your language, so we can show the right content. It doesn't include anything that identifies you. The Help screen also checks the App Store to see if a newer version of Streaks is available.

Contacting support

If you email us from the app, the email includes diagnostic information: your device model, operating system, language, region, calendar and time zone, your app version history, some of your Streaks settings, and the status of iCloud sync. It's part of the email, so you can see it before you send it. We use it only to answer your question.

Location

Streaks doesn't collect your location.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking. Like most web servers, ours keeps standard access logs (including IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting.

Who we share data with

We don't sell or share your data. Crash and diagnostic reports are only seen by us and Sentry, which processes them for us. We would only disclose them:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
  • when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • if Crunchy Bagel is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its assets. You would be notified by a prominent notice on this website of any change in ownership or uses of this information, and of any choices you may have.

What we keep

Your tasks are stored on your devices and in your own iCloud account, not by us. Deleting the app removes them from that device. We keep crash reports and support emails only as long as we need them to fix problems and help you.

Your choices

  • Stop Streaks reading or writing Health data by changing its permissions in the Health app or Settings, or by removing the tasks that use it.
  • Stop syncing with iCloud by turning off sync in the Streaks settings, or turning off iCloud for Streaks in Settings.
• Stop sharing a task at any time from the task's sharing options.

Children

Streaks doesn't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. We'll post any changes on this page (https://streaks.app/privacy/) and update the date above. Please check it regularly, as continued use of Streaks is deemed approval of the changes.

Your consent

By using Streaks, you consent to the processing of your information as set out in this policy.
