Categories

Categories let you group tasks across your pages, such as “Work” or “Health”. A task can be in more than one category.

Creating a Category

1. Go to Settings › Categories.
2. Select Add Category.
3. Give the category a name and an icon.

Adding a Task to a Category

1. Select ⚙︎ on the main screen.
2. Select … on the task.
3. Select Categories and choose one or more categories.

Using Categories

• In the Up Next screen, filter to show only the tasks in a category.
• Use a category with a Focus Filter, so Streaks shows only those tasks during a Focus.
• Limit the Tasks widget to a single category.
• Use a category in Shortcuts actions, such as pausing every task in a category.
